The University of Pennsylvania an nouticed to-day that a cable hail been rneived from'.Mr. Alan Howe, directoi of the expedition at Meyduin, Egypt, which described the discovery of a lieu tomb containing nearly 30 coffins and mummies ranging in age from 22G0 to 4000 years. It was located in a deep pit containing eight chambers, in which were found many rare amulets, pendants, n.nd quantities of beads. The cable said n day and night guard was established pending the removal of the finds.
