WAIROA COLLIE CLUB
FIRST CLASS CONCLUDED (Herald Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Wairoa Collie Club was commenced yesterday in fine weather on Air. A. AJ art in N property, Clydebank. There was a good attendance of the public, most of those present being interested in the finer points of sheep dog work. M. P. Lopdell, of Fair view, was the judge, and his awards in connection with the first class gave every satisfaction. Results so far are as under:—
Class I, long head: W. Whyte’s Boy, 4C I jits,, I; S. Lymbcrl’s Kcp, 4»jpts., 2; *F. Tong’s Joe, 44Jpts., 3; *S. Lambert’s Flume, 42jpts., 4; F. Cameron’s Bob, 42pts., 5. It is expected that Class 11, the short head, will bo concluded this afternoon.
