VICTIMS OF WOLVES
WOMAN AND BABY DEVOURED
JERUSALEM, Feb. 29.
A Christian Arab woman of the Syrian town of Zalilefi, and her baby have, been killed and devoured by wolves in the mountainous district between Zulile.ii and Beirut.
Information which the police have gathered shows that the woman engaged a motor-car lo take tier and Her three children to Beirut. On the way the -chauffeur, a Moslem, made advances to her-,, which slip repelled. The man, tlie police allege, thereupon turned her and the children out of the motor-car anti drove off. Another motor car came along later, but tfie driver declared that he coul donty take two of the children.
