MEMORANDA

The Rev. Oscar AJlwright will conduct the services at the Baptist Church to-morrow. At the morning service the subject will he “Living Dangerously.” At 2.45 p.m. a cradle roll service is to be held, and at the evening service several candidates for baptism will he immersed.

Bandsman Geo. Cults, who was' present at the capture of Jerusalem by General Allenby and his victorious British Army, will be the speaker at the Salvation Army to-monw evening. He will speak of his experiences on tliis memorable occasion in the Great War.

The Rev. J. Stanley Murray, M.A., will preach at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to morrow morning, taking the fourth of his series of studies on “The Lord’s Prayer” as his subject, viz,, “Thy Will Re Done.” The evening service will be broadcast, and the address will be titled “The Purpose of Living.” On Tuesday next at 1.30 p.m., Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., will bold a clearing sale on account of the estate of the late Mr, Peter Muir. The lots to be offered include three draught horses, in first-class condition, and a number of implements and sundries. The sale will take place on the Harm, which is situated just behind Mr. Barber’s store at Manutuke.

The Rev. Geo. Frost will conduct both services to-morrow in Wesley Church. At the morning service Holy Communion will be celebrated, and an I address on “Jesus the Risen Redeemer” will be delivered. At the evening servic the subject of the address will be, “Wli v I am a Protestant!” The choir will render the anthems “Thou Wilt Keep Him in Perfect Peace,” and “Come Holy Ghost.” The pliysical training classes conducted by Miss Bassett at the Y.W.C.A. will start in the week beginning on March 17. Special -features include an afternoon class for ladies, evening classes for junior and senior girls, and afternoon classes for school girls. There will be also one evening class for folk dancing. Girls wanting to play basketball should find out particulars of a special gymnasium class which will include coaching in basketball. Girls from the Triangle basketball teams will be drawn from the members of this class. Special classes for small groups will be organised if the numbers justify. All particulars may be obtained from the secretary, Y.W.C.A.
