WEDDING

HALL—LUNDON On Thursday, in St. David s Church, Haiti, the marriage was solemnised of Nellie, only daughter of Mr. and -Mrs. F. Lundon, of Auckland, to Trevor Peers; only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Halfr, of Gisborne. The church was radiant with glorious masses of white and pink asters, hydrangea, and ferns. The bride, who was given in marriage by Mr. W. H. Scott, in the absence of her father, wore ivory crepe do chine, the bodice made with a cross-over effect, revealing silk lace, which was also used to givo a pointed hem to the full skirt. The sleeves were long and tight fitting, finished with a tiny tuft of silver lace. A handsome veil of embroidered Lrussels net was clasped to the head with a filet of orange blossoms. The bouquet was of asters in white and pale pink shades, and white hosiery and silver shoes were worn. Miss Margaret Witters, the ffiiief bridesmaid, was in delicate vieux rose celanese taffeta, made with a threetiered skirt and tight fitting bodice, the gown being appliquecl in tinted flowers.
