THIRD CRICKET TEST (Per PreHH Association > AUCKLAND, this day. Up to midnight five inches of rain bad fallen since 9 o’clock on Thursday morning, and as it is still raining steadily test cricket is out of the question again to-day. It is understood that Mr. D. Reese the president, and Mr. A. T. Donnelly, tho chairman, and Mr. W. IL YVinsor, the secretary, are strenuously endeavoring to rearrange the iM.C.U. tour so as to play the third test on Monday, luesday, and ’Wednesday. 11. Hunt replaces W. R. Garrard as wicket keeper in the Auckland eleven against Wellington.
