Pastor \V. Mallis. director of the South Sea Evangelical Mission, Solomon Islands, arrives from tin: south to-mor-row. Mr. Mallis, who is a Well-known speaker at Christian convention's in many countries, will give a missionary address at the Baptist Church to-mor-row evening, when he will speak upon the remarkable progress of the work in the Solomon Islands. He will bo accompanied by Mr. Howard Johnston, a brother of the “Blind Soldier evangelist,” who visited Gisborne last winter. Mr. Johnston, who is a graduate of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute at Auckland, lias been accepted as a missionary in the Solomons.
