CHRISTCHURCH BURGLARY
THIEVES SECURE £IOO (For Pross Association.) IOIIRISTCIIURCH, this day. During the week-end thieves entered the drapery establishment of Hay's, Ltd., in ' Gloucester street, and' stole clothing to the value of £4OO. It is believed that a motor lorry was used. CASH REGISTER RIFLED (Per FreRS Association.) WAIPUKURAU, this day. Tho promises of Marko Ujdur, a fish ynd oyster saloon, wore burglariously entered early yesterday morning. A cask register was broken and the sum of £8 'is I'd, most in threepences and sixpences, stolen. Access was gained by forcing a lock on a back door, after finding entrance by a small window impossible.
