THIEF SENT TO BORSTAL

(Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. Herbert Lloyd Denton, 18, was sentenced to two years in the Borstal institute at Invercargill for the theft of a gramophone and seven records from Mnngatcparu school and the theft of a camera from a bus at Tc Arohn. Accused had twice previously been convicted of theft, and at present, was on probation for theft at New Plymouth. He was described by the police as a little weak mentally.
