Overcast conditions prevailed this morning between Opotiki and Napier, but at Auckland, Taunuign and Wellington there wore blue skies, with hazy conditions at Wellington. The wind varied front slight southerly and south-easterly breezes in the, vicinity of Auckland and Opotiki to a fresh southerly at Nasi Capo, while a slight northerly prevailed at Cast lepniat, light southerly at Cape I’alliser, and a slight northerly tit Wellington; calms prevailed al Taurangu and Napier.
