TAINUI HOUSE BURNED

(Per Press Association.) DIJNEDTN, last night. Eire destroyed a five-roomed wooden dwelling at Tainui in the early hours of this morning. and a six-roomed wooden house next door was also slightly damaged. The former was owned by Mr. J. S. Skinner, and was insured with the A.P.A. Co", for £BOO, and the contents in the same office for £12;". The other house, which was owned and occupied by Mr. J. Peardon, was insured for £BOO in the United office. Mr. Skinner and his fanlily were forced to escape in their night attire. The cause of the fire is not known.
