OBITUARY

MR. VICTOR E. CROMER s

(Received February 4, noon) SYDiNEY, Feb. 4

The death has occurred of Mr. Victor E. Cromer, o former associate with world famous figures like Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, Lenin, and Trotsky, and himself a remarkable personality claiming to exercise the gift of touch healing. Deceased, who was aged 47 years, was a native of South Australia and began life on a newspaper. He was Australian representative at the Socialist conference at Stuttgart in 1907, and there met many political leaders. MR. PETER LARKIN (Received February 4, noon) LONDON, Feb. 3. The death occurred to-day of Mr. Peter Larkin, Canadian High Commissioner in London, aged 74 years.

It seems assured that Mr. Vincent Massey, Minister at Washington, will he recalled to-"-Ottawa to succeed Mr. Larkin.--A. and N.Z.C.A.
