Stating that he had been unable to find any extenuating circumstances, Mr. Justice" Smith in tho Supreme Court, yesterday passed a sentence of three years' imprisonment with hard labor on Owen Barber, 45, a farm laborer, for bigamy.

"The, circumstances of your association with this other woman' amounts to a cold calculation of bigamy, for which there is no excuse," said His Honor. "Apart from that, you have inflicted a grave and serious' injustice upon a young woman."
