CHAMPION PAIRS CONTEST
Under the auspices of the Gisborne Bowling. Centre, the' champion pairs competition will bo held at the Poverty Bay Bowling Club's green on Friday, play commencing at 9.30 a.m. Entries , havo been received from the Gisborne, Kahutia, Poverty Bay, Strangers, Te Karaka, Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay, and. Wairoa clubs. The order of play will he as under:
First round: Tokomaru Bay v. Te Karaka; Tolaga Bay y. Strangers; Gisborne v. Kahutia; Poverty Bay v. Wairoa.
Second round: Winner oi Poverty Bay-Wairoa match v. winner of Tokomaru Bay-Te Karaka match; winner of Tolaga Bay-Strangersi match v. winner of Gisborne-Kahutia match.
The winners of the two games in the second round will meet in the final.
