After crawling over the parapet of Grafton bridge so casually that two men Standing nearby thought he was a workman engaged in repairs, Llewllyn JUavson, of Karanganake, Waihi, hurled himself over 100 ft. to the gullybelow. Although he received terrible injuries, he was conscious when others reached him. He died later.
