War on White Ants
'('lie ravages of termites (white ants) have become so serious in Australia, thai the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research is arranging for a special investigation to be made. These little insects are held responsible 'for the destruction of more than 20,000 telegraph and telephone posts in the Commonwealth annually, to say nothing of constant damage to railway sleepers, highwav bridges, harbor structures, and woodwork in public and private, buildings.
