TO-NIGHT'S FEATURES
2YA: Mr. H. C, South will give a talk on books, and it programme by the Wellington Orpheus Musical Society will lollovv at 8 p.m. The soloists will he Miss Eileen Higgins (mezzo-soprano), Miss Marjorie Beanie (contralto), Mr H. R. Robb (baritone), and Mr. Geo. Gray. The orchestral programme will include selections by Tschaikowsky, Bizet, Ohaminad, and: Liszt, and the "Turkish Patio)," by Miehaelis. Pianoforte items bv Miss Hazel Uosc, a flute solo by I* W. Both well and a trumpet; solo by Mr. S. Bernard will bo given.
3YA: At 7.15 p.m. there will be « book review by Mr. K. J. Bell. The Woolston Band will provide the main portion of the programme, Among the items will he "Sons of the Wild" and "The .Mouse" audV'The Keel Mow," a trombone solo by Bandsman F. Williams, "Drinking," and a comet solo by Bandsman It. Ohlson. Further instrumental numbers will he by the Christehurch Broadcasting Trio. 'Hie vocal programme will include Miss [China. Ilart-Sti'wiirt. Miss Lottie 'Colville, and Mr. A. Gladstone Hruwn. Mr .!. J, Fleweilvn will give humorous numbers.
A\A: The Orchestral Sextette is to play. Mr. W. 15. Lambert will sing "The. Muleteer of Malaga," "Harlequin," and ''The Carol Singers." Mr. Dall is to recite "litukingham's Farewell" (Shakespeare), and "The Burial of Utile Nell" (Charles Dickens). IYA: Silent da v.
