FIRE IN NEW PLYMOUTH
'Pvfiqfl A RRGff AtfsTTA 1 NEW'PLYMOUTH, last night. Fire caused heavy damage to seeds and other goods, and 140 rolls of newsprint, the latter stored by the Taranaki Daily News, in a threestoreyed'wooden building of the Farmers’ Co-op. Organisation Society in New Plymouth to-night. The blaze was chiefly in the top iloor, amt burst through tiie roof. It was soon suppressed, but the combined damage by tire, smoke and water is expected to be heavy. It is understood that the damage is to some extent covered bv insurance.
