HAWKE’S BAY RAM FAIR
POVERTY BAY PURCHASES
As was expected, a number of Gis borne buyers were operating at the Hawke’s Bay ram fair, which opened yesterday, and several lots were bought by Poverty Bay flock owners. The offering of Romneys was 2944, while Southdowns totalled 2162. Prices were up to expectations. During the early part of the day the following purchases were made by Gisborne and Wairoa buyers:ROMNEYS.
