AIR SERVICE MISHAP
INAUGURAL FLIGHT SYDNEY, Jan. 1, Inaugurating the air service between Brisbane and Sydney to-day, Hie National Airways’ monoplane,, piloted by Lieut. Ulm, with seven passengers and mails, had to make a forced landing in a ploughed paddock after crossing into New South Wales. The undercarriage of the new giant Fokker was severely damaged. Nobody was hurt.
