A SERIOUS CHARGE
WOMAN BEFORE COURT (per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Arrested on Monday, Mrs Maud Herbert, 41. was charged in .the Police Court oil Tuesday with illegally using an instrument on or about December 22 St Auckland. Chief-Detective Hammond .stated that in view of the condition pf the girl in the case, ho would qppose bail : Aceur-cd was remanded for u week in Custody. ||r| ,
