OBITUARY
REV. M. J. PEARSE (Received January 2, 7> p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1. The deatb lias occurred of the Roy. M-an; Guy l’oarse, a prominent Methodist minister. The Rev. Mark (lay Pearse, late of the West London Mission, was born in Cornwall in 1842, and was educated privately and at Wesley College, Sheffield anil Didsbury College. He was a medical student at St. Bartholomew s Hospital, and entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1863.
