SPIRITUALISTS CRITICISED
NO USEFUL WORK A SCIENTIST’S ARGUMENT (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) - LONDON, Dec. 4. In support of the view that so-called spiritualistic manifestations at present the centre of controversy as the outcome to Schneider’s seances, were in effect the working of a man’s subconscious mind, it is argued by Dr. Bernard Hollander, “When a mail is murdered and the culprit, is not found, why does not the victim’s ghost appear and give information to‘the mourning relatives? If these are spirits, and if there' is any love for humanity in the other world, their manifestations should not require the intervention of uneducated professional mediums, together with their commonplace interpretations.” Dr. Hollander declared that there was uot, a single message received which could throw any light on any great problems affecting humanity.
