Violent fleaths in the United Staa.es over the week-end already total .100, and arc continuing to rise as reports drift in over the telegraph wires, which .arc' crippled by the unseasonably cold weather.
The majority of those fatalities are |rateable to the cold waves which are sweeping the country and causing street, train, and other accidents. Numerous lives have been lost in shipping and mines.
