Some admiration was expressed for Now Zen land's administration at Rarotonga l>y British and American visitors who arrived in Wellington recently, and who spoke of the .beneficial effects such administration was having on the well-being of the natives. "Your country is doing a tremendous lot for the people, which will enable them to live under much healthier and happier conditions." one visitor said'to a newspaper representative. The visitors were satisfied that it was not being done from an v selfish viewpoint, but for the good of the people there.
