FURTHER ALLEGATIONS £400,000 INVOLVED (Received November 23, noon.) LONDON, Nov. 22. On the resumption of the hearing of the Hairy case, the Crown Prosecutor announced that there was a new charge of obtaining £400,000 by duplicating shares of the Drapery Trust, Associated Automatic Machines, and Retail Trade Securities, Ltd. lie alleged tiiat this amount merely represented much larger sums. The defendants had purported to pledge or sell shares bearing identical numbers with those in possession of the original owners, and sometimes the numbers were triplicated.
