SEA SICK CREW

ALL IN BUNKS DURING GALE GLASGOW, October 2. A Glasgow steamer was forced to put in at. Holyhead yesterday because her Lascar crew was suffering too badly from sea-sickness to be able to work. This comedy of tlie sea occurred on hoard the Goschen (950 tons), which was launched at Glasgow for the South Jjidian Railway Co. in June. The Goschen, carrying no cargo, sailed from the Clyde on Friday for Bombay under the command of Captain Macdonald. All went well until yesterday, when the vessel met a gale and heavy seas. The effect on the native crew was soon evident, and one by one they retired to tlinir bunks. Tlie British officers were the onb- .men unaffected by sickness, and they took the vessel into Holyhead. Tho crew immediately gave notice and refused to work.
