THE C.J.C. MEETING EAGLET WINS THE OAKS 1 (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night. The third day of the Canterbury Jockey Club's metropolitan meeting was held to-day. The weather was fine and the attendance good. The course was in fast order. The totalisator investments were £44,360 compared with £39,54.1 on the corresponding day last year.
