SHIPPING ARRIVALS „ Wednesday, November 13. Huanui, auxiliary ketch (5 p.m.), I«s9 tons, Thomsen, from Tolaga Bay. Margaret \V, motor ship (10.50 p.m.), 289 tons, D. L. Clark, from Auckland. Thursday, November Id. Wairaea, s.s. (2 a.m.), £O4 toils, Inman, from Auckland. The AVaimoa arrived from Auckland last night. She was to complete diseh:..ge and sail at 2.M0 p.m. to-day for Napier. The Waipiata, with southern cargo, was unable to complete discharge at Napier yesterday, and now sails to-day for Gisborne. On completion of discharge here to-morrow the vessel proceeds to Auckland. The Kahika, with coal from AVostport and Greymouth, is due here early next week. On completion of discharge here the vessel proceeds to Dunedin, to load again for Napier ami Gisborne, via the usual ports. The Waipahi is to load for Napier ami Gisborne, leaving Dunedin about November IS for Oainaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington.

The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s steamer Norfolk, is due at Gisborne about December 5,t0 load frozen meat and general cargo for London. The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s liner Ruuliiuc is to load at Tokomaru Bay about December 20, taking frozen meat and general cargo for London. The Federal Line jteamcr Cambridge is due at Gisborne about December 9 to load frozen meat and general cargo for United Kingdom ports.

The C. and D. Line steamer Port Hunter arrives hero to-morrow morning from Tokomaru Bay to load butter and wool for London. , The Awahou, witli general cargo from Auckland, via Coast Bays, is due here to-night. She sails again to-morrow afternoon on the return trip north. Owing to the coal strike, the Mako lias been diverted to the Coast to load wool for Wellington. The Pakura arrives here to-morrow morning from Napier and Wellington. The Parera arrived at Tanranga this morning from Lyttelton, via Waikokopu. She sails again this afternoon, and is due at Gisborne to-morrow. From here she proceeds to Westport to load coal for Tokomaru Bay, tlienco Greymouth to load timber for Gisboi'nc. The Gunfiar should arrive here tomorrow morning from Tokomaru Bay. where she lias been lightering the Port Hunter. -She is to sail from hero tomorrow night for Waikokopu and Napier, taking machinery and a small quantity of wool. The Pukeko, which has been undergoing annual overhaul at Auckland, loads cement at Portland to-day for Gisborne.

The motor ship Margaret W arrived here at 10.30 p.m. yesterday from Auck land. The vessel sails for Auckland t" night. The Tiro'a. from Auckland, via Hicks Bay and Tokomaru Bay, arrives at Tolaga Bay this afternoon. She sails from Tolaga Bay to-night, for Auckland. Winds freshening northerly. Seas smooth 1o moderate, but rising north of Hast Cape and on the western const. (Moderate to strong northerly winds and rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Weather dull, misty and unsettled with rain in most districts. Mild temperatures. (To-day’s North Island Report.) Blue skies were reported at Napier this morning, but conditions elsewhere were overcast, with rain at East Cape, and lain during the night at most places. A moderate northerly gale was blowing at East? Cape, and fresh to strong northerly winds elsewhere. The barometer had continued to fall sharply. Temperatures at 9 o’clock were: Auckland 64 degrees,. Tauranga 62. Opotiki and Wanganui 65, East. Cape 58, Gisborne 70, Napier 71, and Wellington 57. Rough seas were reported at East Cape and in the Bay of Plenty; moderate or smooth elsewhere. (Midday Forecast) The indications are for moderate to strong northerly winds, freshening at times and hacking bv north to west. ’The weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with scattered rain probable. Barometer unsteady. Seas rough off shore. Tides moderate.
