Extra choice ox sold to £2 2s per 1001 b., choice and prime ox £1 19s to £2 Is, ordinary and plain £1 16s to £1 IBs, prime young cow and heifer beef £1 17s to £2, ordinary cow, beef £1 14s to £1 16s 6d, extra, heavy prime steers £ls to £l6, heavy prime £l3 15s to £l4 ,17s 6d, lighter prime £l2 5s to £l2 12s 6d, light prime £ll to £l2 2s 6d, unfinished and small £9 10s to £lO 15s, extra heavy prime young cows and heifers £l2 to £l3 ss* heavy prime £lO 10s to £ll 15s, lighter £9 to' £lO 7s, light cows £7 15s to £8 15s, other cows £5 10s, to £6 12s 6d. j , ■Sheep were yarded in average num-j hers. There was a keen de- j maud, and values were decidedly bet-1 ter. Prime lambs sold at £1 2s 6d to £1 8s 9d.
Pigs were penned in large numbers. Value were on a part with last week’s quotations. Choppers sold at £2 to £3 6d, heavy and medium baconers £3 10s to £4 4s, light baconers and heavy porkers £2 18s to £3 Bs, medium and light porkers £2 6s, to £3 16s, small and unfinished. £1 16s to £2 4s.
. Store pigs in small numbers sold at values very firm at late quotations. Large stores made £1 10s to £2, slips £1 4s to £1 9s, weaners 12s to £1 4s.
Calves were penned in large numbers. Values were easier on last week’s quotations. Runners made £6 lc\£9 7s 6d, heavy venters £5 5s to £7 7s 6d, modiuin £4 to £5, light £3 to £3 18s, smaller £2 5s to £2 18s, small and fresh dropped 7s to £2 3s rough calves £1 to £1 18s.
