ESCAPE OF ELECTRICITY
MAFFRA, N.S.W., Oct. 29. While riding through Newry township, six miles from Maffra, the horse ridden by Frederick Vance, a district farmer, dropped dead when going through a pool of water adjacent to an electricity transformer. Mr. Vance received a slight shocks as also did employees of Newry butter and cheese factory while engaged washing milk cans, while another employee was similarly affected when drinking from a tap.
