BAND CONTESTS

. EXCELLENT ENTRIES (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN', last night. Excellent entries in all grades have come' forward for the Dominion hand contest to be held at Dunedin from February 22 to March., 1, 1930. Mr. Chris. Sjpiith, Auckland, has been appointed judge for the selections and quickstep, and Mr. A. Selmack, Christchurch, for the solos. The contests for the solos and selections will be held in the new Town Hull, and the quickstep and pipro band contests on Cnyisbrook ground. A committee already has the arrangements well forward.
