WARNING TO GIRLS
TOUR OF THE EAST DOUBTFUL PROSPECTS (Received November 4, 11 a.m.) • CANBERRA, November 4. Mr. Blakely, Minister for Home Affairs, referring to a report that a troup of girls from Australia or New Zealand contemplated engagement - as dancers to tour the Far East, warns young women to be extremely careful before accepting offers. The conditions under which they will have -to perform, he stated, were frequently undesirable, and the salaries were insufficient to meet their expenses.
