TO-NIGHT’S FEATURES IYA: Tim programme for the Auckland Radio Exhibition will bo of a type very different from that of the last evening. The new IYA orchestral octet will be introduced to the public. There will bo also a vocal octet, tho Olympian and Clarion quartets having combined for the occasion. Other artists engaged will be; Mr, O. Pritchard, entertainer; Miss Margaret Toner, pianist ; Mr. .). H. Montague, elocutionist, ami the Bohemian Duo, novelty vocalists. Three fine concerted numbers will be sung bv the octet, “The Angolus (from “Maritana”), “'When Evening’s Twilight,’’ and “In tho Woods.” Duets and numerous solos all will he sung. The personnel of the new instrumental octet is; Miss Ina Bosworth, first violin; Miss Lois Walls, second violin; Miss Mollio Wright ’cellist; Mr. T. Fitehett, bass; Mr. Gordon Eady, clarinet; Mr. W. Sheploy, trumpet; Mr. R. A? Jury, drums'; Mr. Erie Waters, pianist-con-ductor. 2YA: Mr. W. M. Jackson, gladioli expert, is to give a talk at 7.55 p.m. The last of this season’s concerts of the Wellington Symphony will be broadcast. Tho first half of the’programme will bo dovoted to Schubert., “The Unfinished Symphony,” “The Erl King” (sung by Mr. Harrison Cook with orchestral accompaniment), and “Tho Rosamond Overture.” The second half will in-

elude the overture to “Tannhauser,” the first movement of the Schumann Pianoforte Concerto (Madame Evelyn de Mauny, soloist), the “Faust” ballot music, and one of Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” marches. Their Excellencies, Sir Charles and Lady Alice Forgusson, will be present. 3YA: At 7.30 p.m. Mr. B. McGillivray will give a talk on “Manuring of Crops.” The evening’s concert programe will include numerous classical numbers. The performers will be the studio octet and the Melodions Four, '['lie vocal numbers will include solos as well as concerted items. 4YA: Silent day.
