(To the ,Editor of the Herald.) , f V Sir,—lt was ' with pleasure I read “Theatregoer’s” criticism of.tjle talking picture “A Dangerous Woman,” and fuTly endorse' all he fiSfl. to sAy on the'subject. I .suffered, IQ. inimxUs oi the picture, arid liovr anyone cbtild sit through the whole of it is beyond my comprehension, It is quite beside the point for your correspondents “Port Moresby" and “Talkie Patron” to-make long dissertations as to the worthiness of the .various actors in the piece. The piece itself was unwholesome. If this is the sort .of stuff to fcq the usual fare .at Dishorno picture house's, one cannot help feeling anxiety for the future well-being of the youth of the town, who, as is well Known, are frequent patrons of these shows. There are sure- ,- ly more Wholesorne, pict.tires i.tp,beilhgd—wliv ftbt try a; little moral uplift that > way,, instead of feeding the .young mmd on such trash. As snrPPohe strict the other day. “We ha-yp a splendid youth in New Zealand; let' ns fry to keep it so.”—t am, etc. PATERFAMILIAS.
