BOXING
MORGAN AND TROWERN DRAW (Per Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, last night. The professional boxing contest, Reg. Trowern (Auckland) 10.31, v. Ted Morgan (Wellington) 10.3, went the full 15 rounds last night at the Town Hail before a good attendance, and was declared a draw. Morgan had the upper hand in the first half of the contest, Trowern being in trouble during the sixth round, when Morgan’s left made very effective contacts. Over the last five rounds, Trowern held the initiative, doing the better at in-fighting. The decision was well received.
