Justice P. A. Stigh. of New South Wales, died last week at the residence of his brother, Dr. George Sligh. at Barradine.
Point ra, ilie French tennis player, is to pay a visit to Australia and hopes to be present nf the wedding- of Miss Aukeiley, who was bis tennis'partner. Inspector L. E. O'Hnlloran is at present paying an official visit to the Pay of Plenty police stations; he left Oisborne yesterday morning, and will be absent for three or four days.
