PACIFIC AS THE CENTRE SIR J. MURDOCH’S VIEW » VANCOUVER, Sepl. 19. The shifting of the world's centre of business to the Pacific was predicted by Sir Janies Murdoch, of Sydney, in an address to members of the Canadian Club. lie stressed the need for members oi the British Commonwealth to trade with each other, adding that the Dominions would have to awaken England to the necessity for additional trade within the Empire; while the Dominions would have to restrict their trade as much as possible to channels within the Empire.
