N.Z. TO MELBOURNE, ' EXCLUSION OF HOBART (Elec. Tel. Copyriullt—United Press Assn.) (Received Sept. 23, 11 a.rn.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 23. The Minister of Customs, Mr. Gulictt, denied that the omission of .Hobart as a port of call for the new steamship service. being established betwen Ifew Zealand and Melbourne was due tp the operation of the Commonwealth Navigation Act. Mr. Gullett added that there was no. truth in the report that the omission was due to the provisions of the coastal clauses of the Navigation Act. It was greatly to bo hoped that Hobart, would be included in the itinerary, for the • new service would be of great advantage to Tasmanian trade
