FLOODS IN MEXICO
VAST AREA INUNDATED BANANA CROPS LOST (United Service.) MEXICO CITY, Sept, 21. Nineteen thousand' tons of bananas grown by or for American companies are under water in a vast 'flooded district covering the coast lauds in the States of Vera Cruz, Chiapas and Oanpeche. The Mexican railway is undermined in many places, apd there are numerous mountain slides caused by torrential rain. Schools of sharks have gathered along the coast waiting to feed on the drowned cattle from the swelling rivers.
