BUSY EXPORT SEASON r V • c -\ •, -<> BIG SHIPMENTS ARRANGED That the dairy produce export season is getting’ well into its stride is indicated by the allotments of shipping space arranged and the, fact that over 6000 tons of butter and cheese left the Dominion during August. The latest list issued by the Dairy Board covers , allotments of space in ships sailing up to November 23 and provides for 532,612 boxes of butter and 150,100 creates of cheese in ten vessels, two. of which may have their allotments increased later. ' During the period Auckland will provide the bulk of the butter, nine ships being booked to load 379,300 '.boxes at that port. Tho Karamea hud Rcmuera allotments include 'bookings for West Coast ports of the United Kingdom. The Hororata. sailing from Auckland, and the Karanga, loading during October, are to take butter for Halifax-Monlreal, while the Piako will probably cover the November shipments to Eastern Canada.
