CADET’S SHOCKING DEATH (Per Prnss Association.) HAWERA, last night. While grossing the Hawera railway yards at 6 o’clock this evening, Samuel Brown, 19, a cadet in the railway goods office, jumped between standing wagons and was struck and knocked beneath the wheels of the front truck of a number being shunted with the engine in the rear.. Brown suffered terrible injuries, .including the severance of both legs, and died within half an hour while lieing taken to hospital by the ambulance. , His parents reside, in Dunedin.
