BUCKET SHOP RAID
100 WARRANTS ISSUED NE W YORK, August 7. United States Post Office inspectors visited Wall Street to-day armed with warrants for the arrest of 100 men wanted on charges of operating “bucket shops’’ and using the mails to defraud. Until the warrants are served the officials refuse to divulge the names. One Wall Street firm is alleged to have taken £30,000 from speculator# through the sale of stock in a steel : company. The officials promise a sensation when tliev disclose, the names of those charged with wholesale fleecing.
