In view of 1 lie large amount of interest that had been taken in the parade of players at the opening of the New Zealand ladies’ hockey tournament, a recommendation was placed before a meeting of managers to-day that it should he repeated next Thursday, the last day of the section play. Thoso present supported the idea, and it was decided to recommend the tournament committee to commence the early matches at 2 p.m. that day and that the parade should take place after these games had finished and before the later matches were commenced.
