OBITUARY
IVIES. ELIZABETH McDONALD Another well-known resident of the district in the person of Mrs. Elizabeth .McDonald, of 335 Chiiders road, died early this morning after a long illness, the late Mrs. McDonald, who was 60 vcars of age, enjoyed good health until about four or tive years ago, since when it has been generally very poor. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Fraser, of Wainui road, and came to Gisborne with her parents about 40 years ago. She married the late Mr. Donald McDonald about 50 year.i ago. but he- husband predeceased tier about 10 years or so later. The late Mr. McDonald held positions on some of the Poverty Bay and East Coast stations, and later managed stations in the Waikato and Wairoa districts. His last position was that in charge ot! the Awairati station, Wairoa, hefore it was subdivided, and after his demise Mrs. McDonald returned to live n Gisbo.'tie, where she has been ever The bereaved family comprises two sons and two daughters, Messrs. O. Grant McDonald, of Gisborne, and T. McDonald, of Summer Hill. Masterton, Mrs. H. G. Anderson, of Gisborne, and Miss Elsa McDonald, of Suanmer HOl, Masterton.
