Flood Warnings Flood warnings have been issued by the New South Wales Government meteorologist. Throughout the State the falls have been the best for the year, and in the dry areas mark the first definite break of the prolonged dry spell. Rain was very heavy cm the south coast, registering five inches in parts. At Bateman's Bay 7.16 in. was recorded. There were quite good falls through the wheat areas. Flood.-, are reported on the Snowy River and the upper reaches of the Darling. At a conference of farmers at Sydney every delegate was cheerful and extremely optimistic as the result of the ratal.
