Racegoers throughout Australia ,a"d &ew Zealand are intrigued concerning the possibility of Limerick overhauling Gloaming's huge total of £43,100. Limerick's earnings now total £38.056 10s, and ho has a. leeward of E 5033 10s to make up. If he were to scoop the pool in respect of w.f.a. nues in Sydney, be would easily pass Gloaming, but Mollison, who downed him in the A.J.C. AllAged Stakes, will be a source of great danger in the snrint races. If Limerick is still behind Gloaming at the end of bis Sydney campaign, and it is decided not to take him to Melbourne, he will still have an opportunity of picking up a couple of thousand or so on his return home.
