The Tahiti, from San Francisco, leaves Papeete on Saturday for Rarotonga, Wellington, arid Sydney. •The Awahou leaves Auckland to night for Coast hays and Gisborno. She is due here on Thursday evening. The Mako should arrive here to morrow from Lyttelton, via Wni kokopu. The steamer sails again in the evening for Ly.ttclton. The Parerri leaves Wellington this .evening for Napier and Gisborne. Shi .arrives here on Friday morning. The Gunbar is expected to leave Grcymouth to-night with timber foi Gisborne. Slie is due here on Fri dav. The Pnkoko left Auckland at noun vesterday for Coast bays and Napier. The motor ship Margaret W, which i s to leave Auckland this afternoon, is due here to-morrow night. The Tiroii leaves Auckland this evening with general cargo for Hick; Bay, Tokomaru Bay, and Tolaga Bay. The Federal Bine steamer Hertford, which left Auckland for Nnpici last evening, put back to port from Hauraki Gulf for repairs to her engines. She is expected to .sail again this morning. Seas rough between Akaroa and Fast Cape, and north of Kawhia ; elsewhere moderate. Moderate to southerly winds in the eastern Tasman, backing to east and north-east in the northern portion; seas smooth to moderate |but rising later in the northern portion. Still some showers along the east coast and in the extreme north and south, but improving. Fine in other districts. Cold temperatures with many frosts. (To-day's North Island Report.) Overcast skies were reported this (morning at Gisborne and Wanganui, -blue skies prevailing elsewhere in the North Island. Light south-westerly winds were general.
