* rOREST FIRES STARTED WANTED TO SEE FIREMEN A (United Bervice.) (Received August 12, noon). CANNES, August 11. The mystery of recent disastrous forest fires, whieh were responsible for damage totalling hundreds of thousands of franca, has been cleared up by the arrest of a 13-year-old boy, Raymond Pacaud, who confessed that he started the fires in order to see the firemen and soldiers at work, lie has a 10-year-old accomplice.
