ACTRESS WINS HER CASE IUARIS, August 1. Edmonde Gay, thp music liq.il dancer, has won her case, and the publisher of her portrait in the nudef has been order ed to cruse her name from underneath it. Edmonde sat to a Dutch artist, Kees van Dpngen,, assumcdly for a simple portrait. She was horviKea at the result, which was a portrait of her wearing only bangles and garter:?. She declared ft had also shocked her friends, .and,since the artist refused to give up the painting, she went to the law courts fut redress.
